SEVAD is Steven Davis, a Jamaican-born independent reggae artist, singer-songwriter, performer, producer, educator, and creative entrepreneur based in Frankfurt, Germany.
Rooted in reggae and shaped by lived experience, his music brings together elements of soul, Afrobeat, and contemporary sounds. His songs explore perseverance, love, purpose, culture, relationships, and the realities of finding your own path.
SEVAD’s journey has never been only about recording songs.
As the former lead singer of Step by Step Band, he developed his voice and stage presence through years of performing and learning the craft. His journey has included performing at Rebel Salute in Jamaica—an experience that strengthened his belief in the power of facing fear, trusting the work, and showing up when the opportunity arrives.
Today, SEVAD continues that journey as an independent artist building without waiting for a label or gatekeeper to choose him.
