Overview
This website is operated by SEVAD MUSIC HOUSE ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site, booking a call, or buying a service or a digital product from us, you agree to these Terms.
This site is hosted by Bandzoogle. Payments are processed by Stripe. Calls are scheduled and held through Google. We do not store your card details at any point.
1 — Who can buy
You must be at least the age of majority where you live. You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose.
2 — What we sell
We sell music-production and music-business services, and digital products.
Each service is described on our services page. The description on that page is the scope. What is listed is what is included; anything not listed is not included. If you want something outside it, we agree that separately, in writing, before any work starts.
3 — How a service is booked, and when it starts
For services bought directly, the contract forms when your payment is confirmed by Stripe.
For services that require a call first, the call is the product you are paying for. Any work discussed on that call is a separate agreement, made afterwards.
Turnaround times are stated on the service card and repeated on your payment confirmation. Those are the times we work to. A clock that depends on you sending material does not start until we have usable material — for a mix, that means usable stems; for mastering, a usable stereo file. What "usable" means is set out on the services page.
4 — Revisions
Revision rounds are stated per service on the services page and on your payment confirmation. A revision round is one set of notes, not one change. Where extra rounds are chargeable, the price is stated on the same card.
5 — What you own
You own your master. Always. You paid for the recording, so the recording is yours. We take no points and no share of it.
The song is a separate asset. Where we build a track from scratch, we hold 50% of the publishing on that composition. Where we also write with you, the share is agreed and written down before the work starts, and the split sheet is signed when the song is finished.
Nothing about your split will be new to you after the fact.
6 — What we do not promise
We do not promise streams, followers, placements, income, chart positions or any business outcome. Anyone who promises those is selling you something other than the service.
Our own results are published as facts about our own catalogue. They are not a forecast for yours.
7 — Prices
Prices are as shown at the point of purchase. We can change prices at any time, but never after you have paid for something.
As a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge VAT, and no VAT is shown on our invoices.
8 — Your material
You keep all rights in the material you send us. You confirm that you have the right to send it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We treat unreleased material as confidential and do not share it, publish it or use it as a sample without your written permission.
9 — Third-party services
This site links to and relies on services we do not control — Stripe, Google, Bandzoogle, Meta, Amazon. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their part of the transaction.
10 — Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have 14 days to cancel a distance contract without giving a reason, counted from the day the contract is made.
Before you pay, you tick a box asking us to start straight away. Once the work has been fully performed your right to cancel is gone, and if you cancel part-way you pay for the part already done.
How that works in full, including the model withdrawal form, is on our cancellation and refunds page, which forms part of these Terms.
Paperback and hardcover books are sold and shipped by Amazon, so Amazon’s own returns policy applies to those, not this one.
11 — Liability
We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, and for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. For ordinary negligence we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached, and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Statutory rights are not affected.
12 — Governing law
German law applies. Where you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory law in your country of residence.
13 — Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
14 — Changes
The current version is always the one on this page.
